George Smith

Family member, CEO (Bottom right)

George spent his formative years as a 7th generation resident of Camp Manor. He is a graduate of Sackets Harbor High School along with St. Lawrence University and currently resides in Sackets Harbor with his wife of 38 years, Ellen (pictured bottom left). George aims to continue the community service that his family has done before him along with quite a bit of sailing.

Betsy Cuccinello

Family Member, Chief historian (top left)

Also a 7th generation family member, Betsy grew up in Camp Manor dealing with her terror of a younger brother (George). She has accomplished an extensive catalog of the house’s inventory as well as significant research into the family’s ancestry. Betsy currently lives with her husband, Mike (pictured top right), in New Jersey.

 
 
 

Nathan Smith

Family Member, Web Developer

George’s eldest son and an 8th generation family member of Camp Manor, Nathan graduated from Belmont University in Nashville and currently resides in Burlington, VT. An avid outdoors-man, Nathan is one of the few to possess his grandmother Marilyn Smith’s secret banana bread recipe. Growing up, Nathan and his fellow grandchildren could always expect a loaf or two of Nonny’s famous banana bread to feast upon during holidays and visits.

James Smith

family member, RFP and Content developer

An 8th generation family member and Nathan’s eldest younger brother, James's fondest memories of Camp Manor and Sackets Harbor include exploring the attic, listening to family stories, biking around Madison Barracks and the Battlefield, and receiving $20 from his aforementioned grandmother to indulge on ice cream in the village. James is a Georgetown University graduate currently working as a Sales Operations Analyst in the Boston area and spends his free time skiing and coaching football at Merrimack College.
